Taleamor Park residents live in a restored two-story 1854 Italianate brick farmhouse that has been in the Peterson family since 1950. Fourteen-inch-thick brick walls help to moderate summer heat. The entire first floor and the bedrooms on the second floor are air conditioned.

Each floor of the residence has two bedrooms, a full kitchen, a bath, and a common room. Residents of both floors share a laundry with washer and dryer and a library with an eclectic collection of books, movies, and music.

Each bedroom has a writing desk and a comfortable reading chair. Bed and bath linens are supplied. The residence is cleaned thoroughly prior to arrival. Residents are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the house during their stay.

Both kitchens are fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, eating and cooking utensils, and a few basic spices and herbs. Residents are responsible for the cost and preparation of their own meals, either individually or collaboratively.

The residence is connected to the internet via DSL which can be erratic. There is a McDonalds, a Starbucks, and the public library for free internet in town if faster connection is needed, or residents can provide their own hotspots.
